Dr. Oyeladun Okunromade is an accomplished Senior Public Health and Global Health Consultant, with over 18 years extensive experience in managing Public Health programs, in development of public health strategies and strengthening health system, while working to bridge gaps between scientific, medical and governmental communities, soliciting and managing funds from multiple donors and financial streams, and leading complex delivery of health programs, with evidence significant results and coordinating multi-sectoral projects that control, eliminate, and eradicate infectious diseases across developing countries.
She is a Deputy Director Surveillance in Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC with multifaceted practical experience in International Health Regulations, Implementation of National Action Plan for Health Security, One Health, Surveillance and Epidemiology of infectious diseases, multisectoral coordination, data collection, analysis and program management, development of surveillance strategies, clinical trials phases, National polices/guidelines development and reviews, grant writing, implementation of projects/grants, monitoring and evaluation of projects/grants at national, regional and international health care development and country profile development.
She is currently leading several partners programs and projects in Nigeria including –National Coordinator, One Health; National Surveillance coordination of Covid-19 response in Nigeria, Presidential task force for NYSC-NCDC reopening and Point of entry reopening in Nigeria, Gavi, WHO, US-CDC, UMB, resolve to save lives, UK-GHSA and others.
A Public Health Physician by profession, an Associate Fellow of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Fellow of International Program in Public Health Leadership from University of Washington, a fellow of Rx One Health Institute of University of California and a graduate of Nigeria Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Programme (NFELTP).
